Pamela J. Betz, CPA
Pam has been in the healthcare industry since 1986. Starting at KPMG in Washington D.C. and transferring to the Pittsburgh, Pa office in 1989. There she worked on healthcare and non-profit audits. After leaving KPMG, she worked for the UPMC Health System, specializing in reimbursement, contract analyses and cost reporting. In 2000, she began working for the Hemophilia Center of Western Pa as the finance director overseeing the business operations of the Center. In 2002 she took on the additional title of factor program manager when the Center brought its factor distribution program in-house. Her years of service at the Center have provided her with exposure to federal and state grant reporting including program income, third party and government contracting, pharmacy start up and operations as well as numerous advocacy issues. The Center has been a member of the Hemophilia Alliance since 2000 and Pam has had a seat on the board of directors since 2007.
